Dusana’s Offer to The Brillouin - Form The Chaos Broker Academy
Dear Commerce Chair Sorith,
Enclosed with this letter is a summary finding of astronomical predictions for the Madhi world of Vespersa. The consequential rush on its resources–principally Chaos Shards–is inevitable, just as it was on Soroghast, Klaushate, and Blackrock. We need to put an end to the pillaging.
More about Dusana
Missive From High Regent Dusana to Zhawk, Luchapetal, MrThrifty, and Pickles
While for the rest of Altareth and the Firmament, this will simply be another Tournament to enjoy, I can disclose, in confidence to you and your fellow Brokers at the Academy, that the stakes of the results are much higher than they seem. As you have no doubt learned via Red Sun News and other sources, the Xandrians, supported by the Padoccia Trade Union, have been requesting rights to get licensed as Chaos Brokers and start their own Brokerage Houses. While the Convocation supports equal rights for all species, and as a Clausian balance is of utmost to me, I can convey in no uncertain terms that the Xandrians cannot, under any circumstances, be permitted to participate in real Shard wars and campaigns as Chaos Brokers.
Missive From High Regent Dusana to Luchapetal
I was hoping that at least one of you will show empathy and concern for the Xandrians, and am proud that you have done so. Empathy and service to all are values that we try to instill in Academy-trained Chaos Brokers, along with the drive to think for themselves, regardless of order, directives, and politics. As a matter of course, I had to also ensure that my fellow High Council members were in agreement with what I am about to tell you.
Titus’ Petition to Dusana on Vespersa
Dear High Regent Dusana,
It is with some trepidation that I write to you these many years after our successful campaign together on the Soroghast world. But it is also my hope that I may call in the favor of saving your beautiful skull and helmet from falling under a Tsallis mace.
Dusana’s Concerns
The Ceballos Inquisitors show no real interest in practical government—nor has anyone elected them, anyways—which leaves it to me to find some kind of solution to this prickly situation.
Dusana to Titus on Altareth’s Neutrality
Dear Titus,
I have not forgotten my debt to you, any more than I have forgotten your meat-clubs of hands. Question: How do you write with two thumbs?
More seriously, I have given your petition much thought, and I’m going to investigate convening a meeting to address the potential repercussions of indiscriminate and violative shard harvesting on Vespersa. And the only venue I think capable of hosting such a gathering is the planet Altareth.
Dusana Announces the Altareth Convocation to Set Rules for Chaos Shard Battles: Covert Intel Pack 5
Working in conjunction with the Clausian Regency, the Altareth Trade Bank has opened a Chaos Broker Academy in the port warehouse district. The academy represents a first-of-its-kind effort to formalize training for aspiring brokers and their agents. It also represents a first-of-its-kind agreement between the Brillouin people and the Clausius, who traditionally find Brillouin trade and service-behavior unsavory.
